Boss Monster: Crash Landing is the second expansion for Boss Monster, released in 2016.


In total, there are 45 new cards. All of the Bosses and Room cards contain one new Treasure: an Alien Artifact. Only the 8 Advanced Rooms contain an additional, normal Treasure. All of the Heroes, except The Prince and The King, are classed as Explorers who are lured to dungeons with Alien Artifacts.

An alien spaceship has crash landed in the world of Arcadia! Boss Monster: Crash Landing is a mini-expansion for the hit dungeon building card game, allowing players to expand their Boss Monster game to 5-6 players.

Crash Landing introduces an all new treasure type, new heroes, new Bosses, and new rooms powered by alien monsters and technological traps never before seen in the world of Boss Monster!

Crash Landing is a mini-expansion of 45 cards. It requires Boss Monster 1 or Boss Monster: The Next Level to play. It is fully compatible with all Boss Monster sets.


Crash Landing was originally planned to be the first full 150-card expansion.

The new Treasure Type was teased to be included in the expansion. The new type represents the Explorer and it is depicted by a ray gun

Previous Promo Cards Hybrid-Heroes were also teased to show up in Crash Landing.

In the Strategy Guide, which was released before this expansion, an alien with two tentacles can be seen. The new Boss, Klonos, uses the same artwork but with green eyes and claws as well as a lighter-colored torso.
