This card pairs well with other Cleric cards, or other cards that force an opponent to discard a card, as the player can take that card for themselves. In an update featuring this card, it was noted that this card works well with a card from the Base Set, Specter's Sanctum.
It is unknown whether this card pairs well with Jeopardy, as Jeopardy would force a player to discard their whole hand, and the text of Imp Temple states "card". It is up for debate until the Advanced Rules for The Next Level come out.
